Basic Needs started in 2016 when Txetxu, Shane, and Juan formed the band, later joined by Arcadio on bass. They released their EP "What If" in 2018, followed by their debut album "As It Is" in 2019, mastered by Bernie Grundman and released under Midpoint Music Group.
Now, with a new line-up featuring Rubén on drums and Alfredo on bass, Basic Needs has entered a fresh chapter. Their sound is more atmospheric and powerful than ever. Guitar-driven tracks, emotional melodies, and immersive live performances define this new era of the band.
